Artsphere is located just minutes from Buffalo State College and the museum district that includes Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield-Penney Art Center and The Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.
Artsphere Studio & Gallery is also located in the historic district of Black Rock in Buffalo, New York on the north side of Scajaquada Creek. Now in its ninth year and in a new location across the street from the original gallery, the new Artsphere features more exhibition space, high end lighting, and a waterwall. The gallery continues to promote the work of contemporary artists and authors working in the Western New York area.
Notable exhibitions have included topics such as “Rediscovering the Grant-Amherst Area: Photos from its Historic Past,” “The Camera I” featuring self portraits by photographers, an all media group exhibit “On The Waterfront,” the annual “Garden Mystique” botanical exhibit in July that celebrates garden walks that take place in Buffalo’s neighborhoods and the yearly “Gifts of Art for the Holidays in December.”
